Caracalla. AD 198-217. AV Aureus (19mm, 7.30 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 213. RIC –; Calicó –; BMCRE –; Biaggi –. EF, lustrous. Extremely rare and apparently unpublished with the BRIT obverse legend, but the type is known as a denarius (RIC IV 209a).
