Leo I. AD 457-474. AV Solidus (21mm, 4.35 g, 6h). Thessalonica mint. Struck AD 462-473. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear and shield / Victory standing left, holding long, jeweled cross; stars flanking; THSOB. RIC X 618; Depeyrot 59/1. Good VF, a long scrape on obverse from 2 to 3 o’clock, a few light scratches and marks on the reverse.
