Divus Augustus. Died AD 14. Cast Æ As (22.24). Copy of a Rome mint issue, struck under Titus, AD 80-81. Uncertain Balkan mint. Radiate head left; star above / Eagle standing facing, head right, on globe. Cf. RIC II 462 (Titus); cf. Komnick Type 34.0 (both refs for official issue). VF, light green patina, chipped in several places, large casting sprue still attached. Unusual and interesting.
