Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. Æ Sestertius (32mm, 28.48 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 141-146. Veiled, draped, and diademed bust right / Faustina, holding grain ears and torch, seated right atop a triumphal chariot drawn right by two elephants with riders. RIC III 1139 (Pius) var. (obv. bust type); Banti 69 var. (same). Fine, dark brown and tan surfaces, minor porosity. Rare variety with Faustina’s bust veiled and diademed, and the triumphal chariot to right.
