THESSALY, Pharsalos. 4th-3rd centuries BC. Æ Trichalkon (20mm, 9.48 g, 12h). Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos facing slightly left, with shield and spear over shoulder / Armored Thessalion warrior on horse rearing right, brandishing flail at enemy warrior fleeing to right; soldier behind to left. Cf. BCD Thessaly II 674.4 (ethnic); HGC 4, 650. VF, dark brown patina, some even roughness. Rare.
