By Pierre-Joseph Lorthior (1733-1813). 19th century restrike of a 1747 original. Crowned and mantled conjoined coats-of-arms; all within ornate frame / Three putti decorating an ornate oval shield with a chain of flowers; shield inscribed with a script MD (for d’Aumont and Mazarin) cypher; pair of doves perched on top of shield; LORTHIOR ·· F ·· in exergue; all within ornate frame. Edge: cornucopia and ARGENT. Feuardent 5890. EF, toned. A finely detailed and artistic medal.
