LUCANIA, Thourioi. Circa 320 BC. Æ 34mm (40.46 gm). Head of Athena right, wearing crested helmet decorated with Skylla hurling a stone / Bull standing right;
DAMWN (magistrate) below, serpent in exergue. Cf. SNG ANS 1183; HN Italy 1916. Good VF, mottled multicolor patina, obverse slightly double struck, light corrosion on crest, reverse fields tooled. A very rare and very heavy example of fine style. ($750)
