Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. AV Aureus (20mm, 7.22 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa late AD 150s. DIVA FAVSTINA, draped bust right, with hair bound in pearls / C-E-RES, Ceres standing left, holding grain ears and torch. RIC III 378a (Pius); Beckmann dies CC11/df117 (unlisted die combination); Calicó 1772a; Biaggi 815. EF, lustrous, a few tiny deposits on obverse. Attractive portrait.
