IRELAND. Edward IV. Second reign, 1471-1483. AR Groat (24.5mm, 1.93 g, 10h). Class VI, Light ‘Cross and Pellets’ coinage. Limerick mint. Struck 1472-1478?. Crowned facing bust, L on breast; quatrefoils flanking neck; all within tressure of nine arches with trefoils on cusps / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in opposite quarters, cinquefoil and two pellets in others. SCBI 22 (Copenhagen), 400; D&F 133; SCBC 6342. Near VF, toned, minor edge chip and flan crack. Rare.
