Baldwin, Lampsakos, Series I, unlisted denomination; SNG BN –; SNG Ashmolean –; SNG ANS 762 (Thermai); Roma E-Sale 7, lot 333; Peus 376, lot 253. Good VF, lightly toned, granular surfaces. Rare denomination for series.

Ex Gorny & Mosch 160 (8 October 2007), lot 1241.

This issue, that had traditionally been given to Thermai in Macedon, almost certainly belongs at Lampsakos. The style of Pegasos, particularly in the appearance and rendering of the far wing behind and below the truncation, is the common form used on the early silver at Lampsakos.
