Head of Hercules right, wearing lion’s skin headdress; ••• (mark of value) below, L behind / Prow of galley right; ROMA above, ••• (mark of value) below, L to right. Crawford 97/13b; Sydenham –; Type as RBW – (cf. RBW 408 for Cr. 97/13a, variety without L on obverse). Near VF, reddish brown patina with traces of green. Very rare variety with L mintmark behind head.
