SELEUKID EMPIRE. Tryphon. Circa 142-138 BC. Æ (18.8mm, 5.58 g, 12h). Uncertain mint 100, probably in Northern Syria. Diademed head right / Spiked Macedonian helmet with cheek guards facing left, adorned with a wild goat horn above visor; ΑΣΚ to inner left. SC 2039; HGC 9, 1061. Good VF, dark green to black patina with some earthen highlights/deposits, minor porosity.
