CRETE, Knossos. Circa 200-67 BC. Æ 28mm (11.44 gm). Laureate head of Zeus right; half of thunderbolt below chin / Eagle standing right with open wings, KUDAS around. Svoronos, Crete 142; SNG Copenhagen 388; BMC Crete pg. 25, 57 (same dies). Good VF, dark brown patina. Scarce. Exceptional for issue. ($1000)
