COELESYRIA, Damascus(?). Salonina. Augusta, AD 254-268. Æ (24mm, 8.84 g, 12h). [C]ORИEL [SA]LO[...], draped bust right, wearing stephane, with crescent at shoulders / [...]METRO, two eagles flanking vexillum. Possibly unpublished. Near VF, earthen brown patina.

The “two eagles and vexillum” type is known for the colonies of Caesarea Maritima and Damascus, but Caesarea ceased striking coins before the time of Salonina. The last issue of this type for Damascus appears to be under Valerian I (De Saulcy p. 54, 1).
