MISCELLANEOUS. Group of 7 “AR” Uniface and Biface denominations. Unsigned British Museum electrotype by Robert Ready or his sons. An interesting group of uniface obverses, as well as a biface example of Greek coins in the British Museum. A broad range of Greek issues, from Magna Graecia to Asia Mino. Some issues appear in Head’s
Guide, or GPCG. Group also includes a ‘denarius’ of L. Flaminius Chilo. Cf. BMC
passim (for Greek); cf. Crawford 485/2 (for Flaminius). As made, some uniface issues with numerals scratched on back.
From the Macy Collection.
