ANCIENT EGYPT. Group of eight (8) scarabs and amulets. New Kingdom to Third Intermediate Period, 1550-664 BC. Includes six smaller steatite and faience scarabs, one of which is inscribed Menkheperre (the throne name of Thutmose III). Lot also includes two later faience wadjet amulets. As made, the Thutmose scarab heavily chipped.
