CILICIA, Tarsos. Tarkumuwa (Datames). Satrap of Cilicia and Cappadocia, 384-361/0 BC. AR Stater (23mm, 10.09 g, 1h). Struck circa 380 BC. Female head facing slightly left, hair in ampyx, wearing single-pendant earring and necklace / Bearded head right, wearing crested Attic helmet, drapery around neck; TRKMW (in Aramaic) to right. Casabonne Type 1; Moysey Issue 4; SNG BN 258–65; SNG Levante 79. Good VF, toned, traces of find patina, some cleaning scratches.
