PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy IV. 221-205 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.24 gm). Jugate busts of Serapis and Isis right / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; cornucopiae tied with fillet over shoulder, DI between legs. Svoronos 1124; SNG Copenhagen 197. Toned EF, a bit of horn silver on the reverse around the cornucopiae and between the eagle's legs. Rare and quite attractive. ($2500)
