BAGABATAC, Persian king slaying bull, pellet in center. Meshorer & Qedar 4. Good VF on a large flan with complete legends. ($200)
Bagabatas is unknown, but must have been a Persian administrator in Samaria. The obverse of this coin is derived from the seated satrap on staters of Datames of Tarsos (cf. SNG France 282).
