Charioteer, holding kentron in right hand and reins in both, driving slow quadriga right; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses with open wreath held in both hands / Head of Arethousa right, wearing tainia and pearl necklace; four dolphins and :ΣVRAKOΣIOИ around. Boehringer Series IV, 38 var. (V26/R22’ [rev. die slightly modified]); HGC 2, 1304; SNG ANS 7; Basel 425; Boston MFA 330 = Warren 295; Comiso 158 (this coin); McClean 2594; Randazzo 236 (all from the same dies). EF, attractive light toning. Well centered and struck. Superb late archaic style. Very rare.
