SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos III ‘the Great’. 222-187 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 16.71 g, 12h). Antioch on the Orontes mint. Struck circa 223-211/0 BC. Diademed head right / Apollo Delphios, testing arrow in right hand, resting left hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monograms to outer left and outer right. SC 1042.2; Le Rider, Antioche, Series 1, 110 (A6/P68) = WSM 1053β (this coin); HGC 9, 447u. Near EF, deep cabinet tone, minor die break on obverse. Well centered and in high relief.
