SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos III ‘the Great’. 222-187 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30.5mm, 16.56 g, 12h). Uncertain Mint 68, in northern Mesopotamia. Struck circa 192/0-187 BC. Diademed head right / Apollo Delphios, testing arrow in right hand, resting left hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monogram to outer left. SC 1133.4b; WSM 845α (A3/P6 – this coin, illustrated); HGC 9, 447ff. VF, toned, with slight blue iridescence, small area of deposit under tone on reverse. Rare.
