SELEUKID EMPIRE. Alexander I Balas. 152-145 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 16.77 g, 1h). Uncertain Mint 88, in northern Syria. Diademed head right / Zeus Nikephoros seated left; no control marks. SC 1812 (this coin referenced and illustrated); HGC 875d; CSE 559 (this coin). Good VF, toned, minor pitting and short scratch under tone on obverse. Extremely rare.
