PHOENICIA, Tyre. 126/5 BC-AD 65/6. AR Shekel (24.5mm, 13.94 g, 12h). Dated CY 144 (AD 18/9). Laureate head of Melkart right, [lion skin around neck] / Eagle standing left on prow; palm frond in background; to left, PMΔ (date) above club; KP above monogram to right, Phoenician A between legs. DCA-Tyre 509; HGC 10, 357; DCA 920. VF, lightly toned, some roughness at edge on obverse, minor double strike on reverse.
