NEZAK HUNS. Sahi Tigin. Circa late 7th-early 8th century AD. Æ Drachm (3.05 gm). Investiture issue, circa 710-720 AD. Crowned bust right, the crown composed of two crescents with bull's head and shield, the king holds a flower to his nose; tamgha to left, stylized dragon to right / Fire altar with attendants. Göbl, Hunnen -; Göbl, Supplementa Orientalia II, Em. 255. Good VF, dark brown patina with light earthen encrustation. Quite possibly the finest known example of this scarce issue. ($400)
