UNCERTAIN EAST. 3rd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (22.5mm, 16.65 g, 9h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye / Owl standing left, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to right; all within incuse square. Cf. CNG 100, lot 1588 = Roma XIV, lot 294, otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Near VF, minor porosity, a few deposits. Extremely rare owl-left type with frontal-eye Athena.
