Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.68 g, 8h). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck 8 BC. Laureate head right / Caius Caesar on horseback, galloping right, holding sword and reinst; to left, an aquila between two signa. RIC I 199; Lyon 69; RSC 40. VF, darkly toned, traces of deposits, a few minor marks on reverse under tone.
