NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P, laureate head left, globe at point of neck / ANNON A AVGVSTI CERES around, S C in exergue, Annona on left, draped, standing right, resting right hand on hip and holding cornucopia with left, facing Ceres on right, veiled and draped, seated left, holding grain ears in right hand and torch in left, her feet on a stool; between them, modius with grain ears on garlanded altar; behind, ship’s stern. RIC I 431; WCN 423; Lyon 114; BMCRE 307; BN 78. EF, green-brown patina, surfaces slightly granular. Excellent portrait.
