From the consignor: The only electrotype in my Greek collection, this piece was just something I wanted to have. The British Museum specimen of the Amphipolis tetradrachm is simply unsurpassable. The talent of the engraver is simply wonderful. I knew I would never find, or afford, a genuine example. This was the next best thing and I was happy to have it in my collection.
