EGYPT, Alexandria. Hadrian. 117-138 AD. Billon Tetradrachm (11.93 gm). Dated year 9 (124/5 AD). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Nike seated left on shield, holding wreath and palm; ET
Q (date) across field. Köln 883 (same obverse die); Dattari 1415; cf. Milne 1074. Toned VF. ($200)
It is very unusual to see the regnal date 9 given as a numeral. Due to the association of Q with death (qanatos), that date is normally written out as 'enatou.
