Diademed and draped bust right, wearing tiara / Piloi of the Dioskouroi. Nercessian, Coinage 18; AC 9. Near VF, dark green patina, some roughness // KINGS of COMMAGENE. Mithradates I Kallinikos. Circa 96-70 BC. Æ (17mm, 4.89 g, 10h). Head left, wearing tiara / Club left [within wreath]; c/m: MIΘ in incuse rectangle. Bedoukian, Coinage –; AC 193; cf. CNG E-Sale 343, lot 226 for same type with MΘ countermark, and Lanz 160, lot 266 for MIΘ countermark. Fine, dark green patina with some earthen highlights/deposits. Fine to Near VF, with patinas.
