ROMAN. Provincial. Lot of two (2) Judaean bronzes. Includes: JUDAEA, Herodians. Agrippa II, with Domitian. Circa 50-100 CE. Æ (17mm, 7.47 g, 12h). Caesarea Maritima. Dated RY 18 of Agrippa II’s second era (77/8 CE). Laureate head of Domitian right / Nike standing right, with left foot on helmet, inscribing shield set on left knee; small crescent below wing. Meshorer 144; Hendin 1309. VF, reddish-brown patina // Judaea Capta. Domitian. AD 81-96. Æ (22mm, 10.59 g, 12h). Caesarea Maritima mint. Struck circa AD 83 or later. Laureate head left / Athena standing left, supporting trophy and holding spear and shield. Meshorer 392; Hendin 1455; RPC II 2305. Fine, dark brown patina with earthen deposits. Fine to VF, both with patinas. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Two (2) coins in lot.
