Gallienus. AD 253-268. AR Antoninianus (22.5mm, 3.34 g, 12h). Samosata mint. 1st emission, AD 255-256. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Valerian and Gallienus standing vis-à-vis, holding eagle-tipped scepter and parazonium, respectively, and sacrificing over lighted altar between them. RIC V 446 var. (obv. bust type); MIR 36, 1676m; RSC 793 var. (same). Near EF, toned, lamination flaw on reverse, a bit of porosity. Nice silvering for issue.
