ILLYRIA, Apollonia. Commodus. AD 177-192. Æ (31mm, 25.30 g, 7h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed beardless bus right / Apollo seated left, holding plectrum and cithara. RPC IV Online 7843 = Paris 97 (same dies as illustration). Fine, dark green and brown patina. Very rare, RPC IV Online only lists five examples. Same obverse die as the following lot.
