Carnelian cylinder seal. Near Eastern, Neo-Assyrian Period, circa 9th-8th centuries BC. Engraved in drill-point style, with kneeling hunter, holding whip and sword, facing a winged sphinx standing on hind legs. Pleiades and star above, rosette below. Height: 26mm. Chipped at top.
