SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos II Theos. 261-246 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.95 g, 11h). Myrina mint. Diademed head of Antiochos I right (of ‘rejuvenated’ portrait model) / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY, Herakles seated left on rock draped with lion skin, placing right hand on club set on ground to left, left hand on rock; amphora to outer right, monogram and arrowhead right in exergue. SC Ad116 (same dies as illustration); HGC 9, 241b corr. (SC numbers). Good VF, toned, a little porosity. Well centered. Extremely rare, only one other recorded.
