LYDIA, Bagis. Geta. AD 209-211. Æ (39mm, 39.40 g, 6h). Diogenes Antiochos, principal
archon for the second time. AVT KA ΠO CЄΠ ΓЄTAC, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ЄΠI ΔIOΓЄNOV ANTIOXOV APX A TO B, ΒAΓHNΩN in exergue, emperor, raising right hand in salutation and holding reins in left, driving galloping quadriga to right; above, Nike flying left, about to crown emperor; below, bound captive kneeling right, head left, about to be trampled by horses. Unpublished in the standard references. Near EF, attractive green patina. Well-centered on a medallic flan.
