In MIB, Hahn groups the Neapolis bronzes in his "X" category of imitations of Heraclius bronzes. They should be categorized with the issues of Seleuceia and Isaura, as the product of a temporary mint supporting a military campaign, in this case the Byzantine advance against the first wave of Arab Muslim raiders encroaching on Syria-Palestine.
