Tranquillina. Augusta, AD 241-244. AR Antoninianus (23mm, 4.33 g, 1h). Rome mint. Special emission of Gordian III, AD 243. SABINIA TRANQVILLINA AVG, draped bust right, wearing stephane, set on crescent / CONCORDIA AVGG, Gordian III standing right, holding a roll in his left hand, clasping right hands with Tranquillina standing left. RIC IV 250 (Gordian III); RSC 4; Hunter –; Jameson 232 (same dies). EF, toned, tiny deposit on obverse. Well struck. Very rare.
