UNCERTAIN EAST. Æ Dupondius (30mm, 15.64 g, 12h). Countermark applied early 1st century AD?. Lituus left in incuse conforming to shape, on a bronze dupondius of Tiberius from the Commagene mint. Apparently unpublished in the standard references (but cf. Howgego 401 for a similarly styled cornucopia countermark appearing on same issue). Host Near VF, c/m VF, brown patina with earthen deposits.
