ITALY, Sicilia (Regno). Guglielmo I il Malo (the Bad). 1154-1166. Æ Follaro (11mm, 1.13 g, 2h). Salerno mint. Hand raised in benediction; quatrefoils of pellets flanking / Crescent surmounted by cross. Cappelli 182-3; MEC 14, 334-335A; Biaggi –. Good VF, green patina. Rare.

This piece is perhaps the one illustrated by line drawing in Cappelli, as the flan shape is identical. But if that is the case, then the illustrator took some liberty and included more of the design than is actually visible on the coin.
