LUCANIA, Sybaris. Circa 530-510 BC. AR Nomos (28mm, 7.77 g, 12h). Bull standing left, head right; VM above / Incuse of obverse, reversed, with no ethnic. S&S Class A, pl. XLVIII, 1-3; HN Italy 1729; SNG ANS 817-27. Fine, toned, a few fissures in metal surfaces. Extremely high relief, with a particularly detailed reverse struck from a fresh die.
