CORINTHIA, Corinth (or colony). Circa 350-300 BC. AR Drachm (13mm, 2.39 g, 8h). Pegasos flying left; no control marks / Head of Aphrodite left, wearing sakkos and earring; no control marks. BCD Corinth –; SNG Copenhagen –; SNG Blackburn 877 corr. (no letter on obv.); CNG 94, lot 381. Good VF, light porosity, a little off center on obverse.

Although most Corinth type drachms have letters on the obverse that distinguish the city of origin, there are some that have none, and it is uncertain whether these were issues of Corinth or one of its colonies.
