From the Andrew McCabe Collection, purchased from Zuzim Judaea.

The Zuzim ticket notes “Ex Thomas McKenna Collection, circa 1980.” Tom McKenna was a noted dealer of ancient coins from Fort Collins, Colorado, active from the early 1970s until his retirement in the mid 1990s. One of Tom’s favorite areas was Roman Republic coinage, and more than likely, this coin was purchased from Tom’s inventory circa 1980, as he did not collect for himself at that time.
