The Republicans. Brutus. Spring-early summer 42 BC. AR Quinarius (14mm, 1.66 g, 12h). Military mint traveling with Brutus in southwestern Asia Minor. Quaestorial chair, against which rests staff; modius below / Tripod; simpulum to left, apex to right. Crawford 502/4; King 78; CRI 203; Sydenham 1292; RSC 13. Near EF, reverse struck slightly off center. Nice metal for issue.
