Domitian. AD 81-96. AR Denarius (19.5mm, 3.45 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 81-84. Laureate head right, lightly bearded / Minerva standing left, holding spear. RIC II 169; RSC 601. EF, lustrous. Struck on a broad flan. Rare issue showing Domitian wearing a very slight mourning beard, likely for his brother Titus.
