Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.28 g, 7h). Rome mint. Struck AD 118. Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Concordia seated left on throne, holding patera and resting arm on statuette of Spes. RIC II 49; RSC 253. Choice EF, minor surface flaws. With a strong early “heroic” portrait.
