CAROLVS •A• CAROLO, laureate and cuirassed bust left / QVATVOR•MA RIA•VINDICO, Britannia seated left on globe, holding laurel and sceptre, garnished arms at side; BRITANNIA in exergue. Plain edge. Peck 433; Lobel C2PTM-090; North -; SCBC -. Good VF, attractively toned, small obverse die breaks and light reverse smoothing. Rare. ($300)

This coin appears to actually be of the plain-edge variety, having a somewhat above-median weight, thus precluding effacement of the reeds.
