PERSIA / BAKTRIA. Black hematite stamp seal. Circa 3rd-2nd century BC. Truncated conical bi-faced seal, length 24mm. On the lower face an intaglio female bust with tightly curled hair, wearing pendant earring and necklace. Upper face with a crouching wolf. Pierced horizontally. Very nice style and rare.
