SELEUKID EMPIRE. Demetrios I Soter. 162-150 BC. AR Drachm (16.5mm, 3.91 g, 6h). Ekbatana mint. Series 2, circa 161/58-150 BC. Diademed head right; one diadem end coiled up behind head / Apollo Delphios seated left on omphalos, testing arrow and resting hand on bow; traces of monogram to outer left, CA (sideways and reading downward) to outer right. SC 1734.2 (this coin referenced); HGC 9, 803a. Good VF, lightly toned, struck from worn reverse die, small patch of porosity on reverse. Extremely rare, if not unique.
